Content Writer at The Society of the Creative School
To highlight the positive experiences the Society of the Creative School creates for Creative School students, my blog post sheds light on the fun and self-development activities the faculty has to offer.
My approach to “A Letter to My Future Self O- Week Event,” aims to reassure students that although life may not go as planned it is rewarding to see how our paths and minds have changed for the better. It gives them a chance to reflect and celebrate their successes when they meet their goals.

Communication and Administrative Assistant at Sapphire Miriam Foundation
My work at a Non-profit was a rewarding experience! On behalf of the president and the entire team, I sent emails and proposals to students; partners; sponsors and schools. Although I had background knowledge of the program from previously participating, I had to understand the demographics of my audience by asking questions about the team, doing my research about the location and learning how to speak to a diverse audience.
All in all, I was so glad to be a part of an organization’s mission to foster personal development in young girls in the Caribbean Region.
Project and Communications Assistant at the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.
One of my responsibilities as a Project and Communications Assistant was to update the site that was exclusively for employees. In this example, I wrote about significant holidays recognized by the United Nations.
One of the many things I have done in this role was write copy for posters and banners. Alongside creating eye-catching imagery on applications like Canva, I used words that grabbed the readers’ attention.
I also designed web pages for the department. My colleagues and I were tasked with revamping the Employee Experience Page. Above is one of the pages I created: Cultural Events Page.
